AoC will work fine on both windows XP and Vista. The only reason for needing vista is if u want to run DX10 graphics for AoC but for that u need a graphics card that can run DX10. But AoC will work for DX9 and Windows XP so ur all fine!

Just did a search of the Age of Conan forums. It looks like you'll be able to run it fine on XP, but only the DX9 version. If you want DX10 you'll have to get Vista.
